I may just go back to using BYN for the DSLR and Sharpcap for the ASI2600. Frankly I'd like to dump both framing and Sky Atlas and just let CdC do its thing. I also have had no luck in getting Sky Atlas to do anything worthwhile. So my guess is I have a lot to learn yet about N.I.N.A. has no idea of the coordinates and passes perhaps "zeroes" to ASTAP which just fails outright as does.

The only place (other than settings) where the icon to pull in data from a planetarium program is in the "Framing" tab, so that's what I've done, and it seems to get the RA & DEC coordinates. slew to the object in CdC, then plate solve in N.I.N.A. So I have been trying to specify an object in CdC, pull the coordinates from CdC into N.I.N.A. to interface with CDC, PhD2 and ASTAP (and ). Read the documentation, watched a few videos and setup N.I.N.A. a try so I might be able to switch profiles between cameras and still have a piece of software that could handle all the "bits" in one place. I have received my ASI2600 and thought I'd give N.I.N.A.
